Leah W. Smith, The Visionary

Thank you for taking time to visit our website.  I never thought that when the Lord gave me the vision for the ministry all those years ago that we would be where we are today, and there is still so much more territory to claim.  I am a native of Hammond, Indiana, and gave my life to Christ at an early age. I was baptized by my grandfather the late, Rev. Dr. A.R. Burns Sr.

I grew up a church girl but it wasn't until I left home after graduation and joined the Air Force that my relationship with Christ began to be one that I could call my own. 

While stationed overseas in the United Kingdom, I was birthed into ministry.  My next duty station in Germany was  used to develop me and root me in ministry and be shaped for my destiny.  

 

In my wildest dreams I never would have imagined that "lil ole me" would be chosen to do a work for the Lord, yet here I am.  The one who struggled with the spirit of rejection, insecurities, no confidence and low self-esteem is who God called and then He qualified me.  My God!  Life is so much better on this side of freedom! And honestly, there is no place I would rather be than in a relationship with Him.  

 

My greatest accomplishments are my greatest blessings.  God chose me to be the mother to three beautiful children, Ronald, Toni and Isaiah. He has also blessed me with a number of bonus sons and daughters that I have gained throughout my 20 year Air Force career and thereafter. 

 

God is amazing, and I stand in awe of Him everyday.   I have taken the limits off of God and He is surely welcome to have His way in whatever He wills for me to do. 

I firmly believe that there is no limit to what God can do and therefore there is no limit to what He can do through me, I am unstoppable! 

I take these words and this faith and I share it with the women of Because He Is Enough #IAmEnough, affectionately called LLC (Live Lady Crew)! 

 

This sisterhood is unmatched and is God ordained!  THIS is what sisterhood looks like and as iron sharpens iron we certainly sharpen each other.   I bless God that He saw fit to allow me to lead such an amazing group of His daughters and I look forward to those to come.   We avail ourselves to God and yield to Holy Spirit. 

 We don't have to get ready because  "We Stay Ready"!
